Author Guidelines
Aims and Scope The International Journal of Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (IJECOMBA) serves as a premier academic platform for publishing high-quality research across the interconnected disciplines of economics, management science, business administration, and accounting. The journal welcomes original research articles, comprehensive review papers, case studies, and methodological contributions that demonstrate rigorous scholarly standards and interdisciplinary perspectives.
Article Types and Length Only full-length articles are considered for publication.
- Maximum Word Count: 7,000-8,000 words.
- Maximum Pages: 12 pages (including tables, figures, and references).
- These limits ensure conciseness and relevance to the journal's audience.
Peer Review Process IJECOMBA employs a double-blind peer review process. This means that both the author’s and reviewer’s identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.
To facilitate this, authors are required to submit the following documents separately:
- Title Page: Includes author(s)’ names, affiliations, acknowledgments, declaration of conflicting interests, and the corresponding author’s contact information.
- Main Document (Blinded): Should not contain any identifying information. It must include the full manuscript text, references, figures, and tables.
Open Access Policy and License IJECOMBA has an open access policy that allows unrestricted access, download, and reuse of articles as long as the journal and original author(s) are properly cited.
- License: All content is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
- Under this license, users are permitted to share and adapt the material for any purpose, provided appropriate credit is given and changes are indicated.
Article Publishing Charge (APC) and Waivers
- APC: To sustain the journal's operations and open access model, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 300,000 or USD 20 is applicable for articles upon acceptance
- Waivers: Authors may request a fee waiver by contacting the administrator. Waivers are granted subject to evaluation based on specific criteria, such as funding constraints or affiliation with low-income institutions.
Ethics and Policies Authors must follow the ethical guidelines stated in the IJECOMBA Publication Ethics Policy.
- Originality: Manuscripts must be original works not published elsewhere.
- Plagiarism: Plagiarism, duplicate publication, and data fabrication are strictly forbidden. All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software.
- Human Participants: Research involving human subjects must include a statement confirming that ethical approval was obtained and informed consent was secured.
- AI Usage: Authors must disclose any use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the preparation of their manuscript in the Acknowledgments section. AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
